Women Who Build

Terms of service

Last updated 12 August 2026

These are the terms for Women Who Build, a program run by EM Designs LLC. Paying for a place, or creating an account, means you agree to them. We have tried to write them in plain language, because terms nobody can read protect nobody.

What you are buying

One cycle of Women Who Build, for a single payment. A cycle is the eight weeks leading up to your launch, plus ninety days after you ship. We built it that way deliberately, because the point where most people go quiet is right after launch, not before.

The price is $500, and our founding members pay less. Whatever your price is, it is shown on the payment page before you enter a card, and that is the amount you will be charged. There is nothing added at checkout.

Included in that:

  • Weekly live sessions with the group, on Sunday evenings.
  • A place in an accountability pod, a small group of women launching alongside you.
  • Your own launch plan in the app, built around what you are actually building.
  • The resources, templates and tools inside the app for the length of your cycle.

It is a one time payment, not a subscription. Nothing recurring is charged and there is nothing to cancel.

Refunds

If it is not right for you, tell us within seven days of paying, or within seven days of your first session if that is later, and we will refund you in full. You do not have to explain why, and we will not try to talk you out of it.

After that the payment is final. The window always reaches past your first session, so you can attend, meet your pod, and see how the program actually works before you decide, which is the honest basis for the decision. Email hello@womenwhobuild.app to ask, and the refund goes back to the card you paid with.

Joining

Places are not sold from a button. Everyone speaks with us first, on a short intro call, because arriving in the middle of a group that already knows each other works badly for everybody when it is not a fit. We may decline an application, and if we do before you have paid, nothing is owed in either direction.

You need to be eighteen or over, and the account you create is yours alone. Please do not share your login, because your pod needs to know who they are talking to.

What we ask of you

This works because of what members give each other, so most of what follows is about protecting that.

  • What is said in a session or a pod stays there. People share revenue numbers, mistakes and things that are not going well, and that only keeps happening if it is safe.
  • Treat other members well. Harassment, discrimination and cruelty get you removed, without a refund.
  • Do not use the community as a list to sell to. Members are here to build, not to be pitched.
  • Do not share program materials outside the group, or resell them.

Who owns what

You own your business, your ideas, and everything you make. Nothing here gives us any claim on your company or your work, and we do not take equity.

We own the program itself, meaning the curriculum, the templates, the resources and the app. You may use all of it for your own business as much as you like. You may not republish it, resell it, or teach it as your own.

When you post something in the community, you are giving other members and us permission to see it and to respond to it inside the community. If we ever wanted to quote you publicly, for example in a testimonial, we would ask you first.

What we do not promise

We will give you the structure, the accountability and the honest feedback. We cannot promise that you will launch, that your product will work, or that you will make any particular amount of money, and you should be suspicious of anyone who does promise that. Those outcomes depend on your business and on how much of the work you do.

Nothing in this program is legal, tax, accounting, or investment advice. For those, talk to someone qualified in that field.

We aim to keep the app available and the sessions running as scheduled, but we cannot guarantee either without interruption. If a session has to move, we will tell you as early as we can.

Ending it

You can leave whenever you want. Once the refund window has closed the payment is not refunded, but nothing obliges you to stay.

We can remove someone who breaks the conduct expectations above, or who behaves in a way that makes the group worse for everyone else. That is a decision we would only take seriously and rarely, and it does not come with a refund.

Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for anything connected with this program is limited to what you paid us for it. We are not liable for lost profits, lost business, or other indirect losses. Some places do not allow those limits, in which case they apply to you only as far as they are permitted.

Changes, and which law applies

If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and, when the change actually affects you, tell you rather than hoping you notice. Changes do not apply backwards to a cycle you have already paid for.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
